Longest Balloon Chain, One Hour - Current world record 1. Participants of the at the Impossibility Challenger Games set the record for the longest balloon chain made by a team of 20 in one hour. Despite windy conditions, they blew up and then linked together balloons at a length of 270.3 m on 14 November 2009 at The Trusts Stadium in Waitakere City, Auckland, New Zealand.   Previous verified claims 1. On 3 March 2005, 18 students and two adults at Eisenhower Junior High School in Taylorsville (Utah, USA), set the record for the longest balloon chain made in one hour by a team of twenty.
